Head of A2R Hub - Europe
Head of Account to Report will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent implementation of streamlined Account-to-Report processes throughout the region. This includes defining core business processes, standardizing ways of working, harmonizing the ITS tool landscape, simplifying the user experience, and adhering to global guidelines.
The role involves responsibility for designing and ensuring process compliance at the regional level, managing deviations, and coordinating Tax, Treasury, and Finance Performance teams. The individual will actively participate in governance boards and will establish and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement towards excellence.

What will you do:
 
  • Establishes and Drives the Regional Process Strategy:
    • Develop and communicate a clear vision, strategy, and performance objectives for end-to-end A2R services.
    • Align the A2R process strategy with the broader strategy.
    • Provide expert guidance to the Hub team, HFOs, and local A2R partners.
    • Enhance the user experience to help employees perform their tasks more efficiently.

  • Sets Up and Oversees the Regional Hub Organization:
    • Ensure continuous business operations and service delivery without disruptions.
    • Implement the A2R governance model, coordinating with regional/country HFOs, HFPs, and other stakeholders.
    • Organize and allocate workload across A2R functions, countries, and ERP systems.
    • Monitor team performance and foster professional development.
    • Engage in cross-functional initiatives within the Hub.

  • Leads Process Standardization and Improvement Initiatives:
    • Build relationships across the region to promote process standardization and identify areas for functional and cross-functional improvements.
    • Ensure Hub activities align with the A2R Core Model.
    • Work with the A2R Global Process Excellence lead to address Core Model gaps and collaborate with the Digital Solutions team on automation needs.
    • Propose and implement process improvements to achieve world-class performance.
    • Maintain documentation for processes at all levels, ensuring comprehensive coverage where beneficial.
    • Develop and execute plans for implementing improvements.
    • Address change management for people, processes, and tools.
    • Drive strategic transformation projects, such as the adoption of A2R satellite tools

  • Monitors and Improves Process Performance:
    • Track and assess A2R performance metrics, including internal control reviews.
    • Evaluate process performance and take corrective actions when needed.
    • Identify performance gaps and initiate improvement efforts.

  • Collaborates with Global Leadership and A2R Teams in Other Regions:
    • Maintain open communication with global management and A2R counterparts to ensure alignment and share best practices.
    • Implements and Manages Process Policies and Procedures:
    • Develop and update policies and procedures to support optimized processes.

  • Ensures Compliance with Internal Controls and SOX Standards:
    • Maintain high standards for compliance and internal controls, ensuring adherence to SOX requirements.


Join if you have:
  • Strong process knowledge with ability to redefine processes from end to end to support Business needs
  • 7+ years’ experience in managing operational teams and/or transition projects
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or equivalent
  • Fluency in English mandatory
  • CPA or Chartered Accountancy certification
  • Audit experience (internal or external) is a plus
  • Strong experience in Group Accounting, Consolidation and Internal Controls
  • Good technical skills
  • Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization
  • High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve critical issues and ensure programs stay on track
  • Strategic thinking and process impact understanding
  • Change agent with strong problem-solving skills
  • Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels
