Procurement Specialist (Chinese speaking)


Our partner is a Chinese automotive company, with core activities including the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of passenger and commercial vehicles. Their goal is to become a world-class automotive company with international competitiveness and a strong brand presence.


Responsibilities:
  • Register suppliers, conduct bidding processes based on the Statement of Sourcing Requirements (SOR), and perform price comparisons and analyses
  • Collect official quotations from potential suppliers
  • Lead negotiations and prepare documentation for General Purchasing Committee (GPC) meetings, ensuring compliance with GPC requirements
  • Manage GPC decision-making applications and promptly notify relevant departments of the outcomes
  • Oversee the signing of purchasing contracts with suppliers and organize internal contract reviews and countersignatures
  • Monitor payments in accordance with contract terms
  • Maintain and archive purchasing documents and files, including contracts, quotations, GPC documentation, and other relevant materials
  • Create and maintain administrative processes and procedures
  • Manage daily office operations, including coordinating travel arrangements and maintaining office supplies
  • Assist in preparing documentation for company assets, generating reports, and ensuring proper record-keeping
  • Organize and support company events, including hosting events or conferences, venue selection, catering, and arrangements
  • Arrange flight tickets and accommodations for travelers
  • Manage office supply orders and ensure the availability of required equipment and consumables (e.g., mobile phones, laptops, stationery, name cards, maintenance services)
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes from an administrative perspective

Requirements:
  • University/College degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in project management
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
