You will have the following responsibilities:
Define and Manage the Product Backlog:
- Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital channel development within the BSS ecosystem.
- Create, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, which includes features, user stories, bug fixes, and improvements.
Clarify Requirements:
- Ensure that the development team understands the product requirements and user stories, providing clear and actionable guidance.
Prioritize Work:
- Prioritize tasks based on business value, customer feedback, market conditions, and strategic goals to ensure the most valuable work is completed first.
Decision-Making:
- Act as the final authority on product decisions, ensuring that the development effort aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Domain Ownership:
- Own a specific domain within the Yettel ecosystem, ensuring product quality, defining priorities, and accepting deliveries from the development team.
- Provide domain expertise in BSS systems and digital channel technologies, including web portals, mobile apps, and APIs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in digital technologies, incorporating best practices into the product lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding product status and priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, marketing, customer care, and technical teams, to capture needs and translate them into actionable tasks.
Release Management:
- Be responsible for domain-related deliveries within a release, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
Technical Affinity:
- Maintain a good, at least high-level, technical overview of the domain to effectively communicate with the development team and stakeholders.
You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have / are:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions based on business value and strategic goals.
- Technical affinity and the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.
- Telecom industry experience and knowledge of subscription-based services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, etc.).
