The Role:
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for achieving inventory and service goals within an assigned portfolio through efficient production planning and execution. Key tasks include creating feasible short- and mid-term production plans for third-party manufacturers (TPMs), while considering production capacity, material availability, and technological constraints.
The Planner monitors actual production versus planned outputs, implementing timely corrective actions to address supply plan changes. They also manage quality assurance and material usage workflows to support the financial and service objectives of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring inventory and service goals are met by partnering with sustainable external suppliers.
  • Planning production for finished goods and work-in-progress products at third-party manufacturers.
  • Developing short- and mid-term production plans for external manufacturers.
  • Creating a master production schedule considering technology, capacity, and material availability.
  • Monitoring production performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Resolving supply gaps through close collaboration with external manufacturers.
  • Tracking quality workflows and resolving any related issues.
  • Coordinating shipments, including expediting, de-expediting, and handling exceptions.
  • Issuing and tracking purchase orders while evaluating external supplier performance.
  • Maintaining regular communication with third-party manufacturers to ensure production progress and material stock availability.
  • Escalating supply chain issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Collaborating with supply chain teams to ensure efficient material and shipment management.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., German, French, Italian) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP ECC/APO, E2Open, etc.).
  • Strong data management and analytical skills (e.g., Power BI, SAP Hana, etc.).
  • Familiarity with APICS, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies is a plus
