Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions Zrt, part of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for a well-experienced Head of Productions to our operations team, being located in Várpalota, Hungary.
- Ensure undisputed implementation and maintenance of safety measures in all production areas
- Playing a leading role in designing and building production organization
- Playing significant role in starting and ramping up production
- Leading serial production
- Drive risk mitigation and operational excellence initiatives
- Ensure that all regulatory and compliance measures and customer requirements are met
- Participate in installation and commissioning of technologies and mproduction equipment
- Train and continuously develop key production staff, his/her direct and second line reports even while learning in parallel
- Participate in development and deployment of manufacturing processes and KPI’s
- Ensure customer satisfaction via uncompromised quality and timely completion of production activities
- Manage teams in different workshops providing leadership, assistance and guidance to workshop leaders, shift leaders and the entire production team
- Direct and supervise production planning
- Maintain, train and improve 5S in the areas under his/her responsibilities
- Ensure availability of required resources including especially skilled and trained people, tools and material
- Active participation in preparation and completion of system and customer audits
- Leading, guiding and supervising capacity, headcount and cost planning, providing strong control on delivering these plans
- Participate in preparing CAPEX, OPEX budgets and control realization in his/her area
- BSc./MSc. Degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical)
- Minimum of 10 years experience in productions, including 5 years as manager of complex manufacturing process with delegated authority
- High level of English skills both verbal and in writing
- Very good knowledge of SAP, especially the PP module
- High level user of MS Office programs
- Experience in chemical manufacturing operations
- Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Knowldge of SAP MM and WH modules
- Project management experience
- Education in economics
- Energetic in providing leadership while coaching, and developing his/her teams the same time
