Junior TV Specialist and Service Manager,
be yourself and make a difference in the world.

 

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Acquire overarching knowledge about the ecosystem behind Yettel TV service such as the TV Platform, Clients, Streaming and network domains
  • Participate in planning and execution of TV platform related feature developments
  • Establish a sustainable testing workflow for each new release of Client applications
  • Support content management with daily operational activities. 
  • Support Set Top Box selection/lifecycle management. 
  • Participate in problem management and root cause analysis. 
  • Control daily activities of IT services delivered by CETIN Hungary or 3rd party vendors. 
  • Monitor, report, analyse and escalate on service alignment (including service levels) with agreed SOWs. 
  • Ensure that our external service providers meet and exceed specific service metrics, take care of contractual obligations, drive support vendors’ reviews. 
  • Follow governance framework co-host expert level governance meetings with CETIN or 3rd party vendors. 
  • Take care of daily operational level relationship with CETIN stakeholders  
  • Participate in continuous improvement process including IT service quality measurement and delivering improvement activities. 
  • Ensure operational audit requirements, owns operational controls, and participate companywide audits. 

 

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related field (or equivalent work experience). 
  • Familiar with IPTV, OTT, NPVR, CUTV, STB, Multicast, DRM, EPG, HLS, DASH, Widevine, Plaready, Fairplay, OTA, ACS, TR-069, CMS, TVOD/SVOD 
  • Basic understanding of mobile (4G/LTE, 5G) and fixed access networks, L2/L3 network and device management protocols such as IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, UDP, RTSP, CWMP, TR-069, SNMP 
  • Familiar with the Android TV Operator Tier program, Smart TV platforms and market trends
  • Experience managing external service providers in a complex multinational company group environment. 
  • Working ITIL knowledge and practice. Service Management experience with at least three of the following processes: incidents, problem, service request, change management, demand management, capacity management, SLA management.  
  • Highly analytical and structured thinker with the ability to transform it into service-oriented approach. 
  • Strong communication and reporting skills. 
  • Strong service delivery skills and relationship management skills. 
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, gain their confidence and persuade them to cooperate with initiatives where it is required. Has a “consultant” mindset with the ability to drive the execution of strategies and influencing realization Motivated by influencing high level decisions. 
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • MS Excel / PowerBI and data analytics skills 
  • Ability to work both independently and in team. 
  • Fluency in English both in oral and written.
