Are you ready to shape the future of financial intelligence in a dynamic and innovative environment? We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy, optimizing the Controlling Information System (CIS) and playing a crucial role in our Hyperion implementation. This highly visible position is designed for a professional with a deep understanding of accounting, data-driven insights and process excellence, responsible for enhancing our financial planning, reporting and analytics capabilities at a strategic level. You will have the following responsibilities:
Controlling Information System (CIS) related tasks
- Cross-functional collaboration with IT, finance and external vendors for improvement and alignment of CIS functionalities with organizational goal
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in CIS by implementing regular data validation checks
- Simplify CIS from data architecture point of view to ensure better performance
- Ensure proper understanding of company accounting changes which may impact reporting and planning. Implement necessary changes in CIS, management reports and planning & analysis models
- Identifying and managing risks associated with CIS, especially data security
Planning and Reporting
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and planning for given P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-Flow items
- Exploration of advanced analytics tools and automation techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency
- Develop self-service Management Dashboard
- Proactively engaging with stakeholders to understand evolving data/reporting needs
Project support
- Support controlling models based on the requests of divisional controllers, including automatization of them
- Lead the integration of Hyperion with CIS to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy across platforms
- Develop and implement data validation processes to Hyperion to maintain high data quality post-migration
You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in similar positions
- Experience in controlling processes (reporting, planning, forecasting)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures, IFRS knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent proficiency in Excel (macros), Power BI and SAP (FI /CO) knowledge
- IBM Planning Analytics, Hyperion and Microsoft SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Experience in multidimensional database planning or development is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, ability to understand complex processes and structures
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively
- Has a winning mindset and improvement orientation
